I hope 94UL comes my way. I look forward to ending the days of cleaning lead off my spark plugs hiring someone licensed to clean lead off my spark plugs.

If you knowingly walk in to sodomy of your wallet is it an ass-raping at the pump?

Almost time to pull a Diemert style “world class restoration”.

Maybe find a cheap 1976 VW rabbit with a rebuilt diesel engine, sneak it into a cub clone and run it off used oil from the local chippy.

Probably want to get some sort of a gear drive so you don’t harm the main bearings.

Oof. My fault for assuming the price would be closer to premium mogas, I guess.

I did a cost benefit of buying a transfer tank and pump and throwing it my truck.

Eventually did it a few months ago. Just filled 100gallons @ 3.89/gal vs $4.50 the airport over yonder.

I did some fuzzy math, and if I recall I need to fly 80 hours to break even. Everything after is $$$ savings.

From an engineering standpoint 94UL ought to significantly cheaper than 100LL because it has no nasty lead.

I thought it was 100LL before the lead was sdded. I don’t jniw why it costs more to get less.
