Right - that's why he's a TC Inspector now.

The Inspector that took down Buffalo must be
a major stud now - when he walks into the room,
all the other inspectors must whisper and point,
"He's the guy that took down Buffalo!"

The two FAA Inspectors that colluded to take
down Bob Hoover with the nonsense "cognitive
dissonance" diagnosis were super-studs afterwards.
They took down a legend.

This is all so silly.  TC doesn't care if someone
crashes or not.  Look at the notorious operators
in the PEG and NWO.

Joe just needs someone to push paper.

This story seems to sum up some of the problems:

It says they started doing proper w+b after that accident, but who knows.

As for the Peg, it looks like they just shut down that operator as well, so perhaps things are changing for the better.

I have no idea who BPF is in real life and don't really care.  I have had very limited interaction with him in my time on avcanada, but isn't it time to give it a rest already?  We get it, you all have had problems in one form or another with him, it's been said over and over, but aren't there bigger fish to fry than to keep bashing the man?

CpnCrunch on the other hand..... :D

I have known Joe for over forty years and Mikey since he was born and have never had any problem with either of them.

I never flew for Joe but have bought a lot of airplane parts from him and found him to be easy to deal with.

As far as a pilot goes from what I have observed of Joe he is one of the best hands and feet pilots in aviation.

And I do not make statements like that unless I believe what I am saying.

Great.

When are you going to retire and just fuck the dog for the rest of your life?

The FAA took down Bob Hoover for the same reason.
Those Inspectors were really somebody after that.
Nothing gained by attacking someone below the radar.

Joe just needs someone to push more paper.  That's
the only TC metric, apart from how much someone
is their "buddy".

It's too bad that not one TC Inspector has ever
read TP975E Flight Instructor Guide: which says:

-- cut --

"You want your teaching to result in good pilots
who are able to use the initiative, judgement and
skill which you have nurtured in them.

If students are to respect rather than fear or resent
your authority, you must be fair, firm and friendly."

-- cut --

TC knows that no one respects their ability or
knowledge or skill, so they intentionally try to
intimidate people into fearing and resenting them.

The idea of TC being fair is utterly hilarious.
Chuck Ellsworth

Colonel, there was a time when T.C. had inspectors who were fair and also good pilots, hell we even went to the bar with them after our recurrent flight check rides and had real good discussions about our flight test results.

We respected them and there was no hard feelings when we had fuck ups because we both knew and respected the rules and were content to learn from fucked up procedures.

I bet there are others here who remember those days.

The reason they rule through fear now is they now hire fuck ups who could not be trained and using the power of their office is all they can do.
