Fair enough, I'll apologise for calling it BS. However they are talking about boat migrants/refugees, not Syrian refugees in general. Two completely different things, and Canada isn't taking in boat migrants AFAIK, they're taking in the people in the refugee camps (with the 50/50 split between male/female). Presumably more men than women decide to take their chances on boats.
