I like my guns, I have only heard of the .500 nitro express talked in near legendary parlance among old wise men. I have never heard them speak of it as a hand gun cartridge though. :))

That's the perfect weapon for when you have a charging elephant in front and an enemy behind you.  If I were ever masochistic enough to fire one of those I think I would be inclined to wear a helmet.

My wrists started stinging before he even took the shot. My right hand shoulder still hurts to this day from shooting a 500. round years ago. Unless you are a PH in Africa and in need of immediate shooting power, the Nitro express is not to be used!

(Unless your a sadist! Hehe)
