Leave flap retraction, while the aircraft is moving, to the pros.

Free advice:  if you don't have an ATP, don't raise the flaps while
the aircraft is in motion.  Wait until after the aircraft has stopped.

If the above had been heeded, there would have been a lot less
bent tin over the decades.

Instead, learn to control your airspeed on final, and if you're too
hot, go around.  Landing long and braking hard can be expensive.
