This video has been making the rounds - about as close as you can come to crashing...



I don't have firefighting experience but descending below a ridge directly in front of you doesn't strike me as a smart thing to do.

Close enough for the down wash to stir up the white ashes from the fire.

I wonder if it caused brown streaks in their underwear?

Change of underwear checklist!

I have to wonder that these converted passenger planes might not be the best idea for close in air support.

His wingtip vortices hit the ridge.

No margin for error.  I hope he always is that good.
