There is going to be a rare A model at Airventure. I like F-86s, they remind me of Ralph saving everyone from Martians.

F-86s are neat and all, but you can't go for a ride in one... unless it's really awkward looking:

Still better looking than the two-seat P-39...

You have an excellent point. I do prefer to be able to take passengers. I'd still like to try one I think. Might need a nice long runway. Can we get permission to use those big dessert ones at Edwards?

Pish Posh! Real pilots fly Pitts and the 104s. My daddy was the best pilot because he was able to handle a BLC failure and no one else can. He even got smiley faces on his logbook from his CO whenever he did a job well done.

Begone history revisionist. Before the 1980s gold star stickers were the prize for a job well done.

Both of those are also on my unrealistic bucket list but I fear I'm too big for either. I can lose weight if I have to (and I probably should) but my height is still problematic.
They need to make a big and tall store for airplanes. It sucks when all the most fun looking stuff is tiny. Well, you know, except for Kate Upton.

I hear you. I could get down to illness weight and my shoulders are not going to fit in a lot of planes.
