Why is he so poor?
Probably spent all his money on airplanes.

Ah, makes sense.

Like a guy who owns a 172, who could use some money, when he attempts to sell it for $130,000 no one responds to the advertisement.

Ouch.

Reminds me of a guy on the aerobatic mailing list. He bought the same Pitts S-1 three times.

It wasn't a super-expensive airplane, but every time he got divorced, he had to sell it to give the money
to his latest ex-wife. Then he would save up his money, and buy it back.

My friend just got divorced, and said he will never re-marry. Ha. I told him to just find a woman that didn't
like him and give her half his money. Save a whole lot of time and effort.
