Viper Pilot by Dan Hampton
Excellent book. If you liked that, read "Fighter Pilot" by Robin Olds.

What a guy! I wish I could have flown on squadron with him commanding.

Lots of guys are great pilots. Far fewer are great pilots and great leaders - Robin Olds was both.

Smell the Venn diagrams ....
