This guy did 3 tours of Vietnam and was shot down 7 times, but that’s not important.

In 1973 in New Orleans LA as a Lt Col he took a helicopter without permission in terrible weather, loaded it up with cops with rifles and killed a very bad man on the roof of a HoJo.

They court-martialed him of course, but the Governor told the Corps to fuck off, and Chuck retired a Lt Gen in 1990 with over 12,000 flight hours during his 35 years of service.



Times were different back then. They don’t build them like Chuck any more. He died in 2020.
