I do not miss Cb’s and icing one bit.

Finally I got to use the function of lateral offset. It’s only been 8+ years; demoing it but never actually using it for reals.

I had to do that yesterday, but you don’t want me starting a new thread for Simview Saturday…

I was really hoping for a strip club reference.

Like: the new Thai lady is really hot, but then I noticed his lateral offset.

The horizontal stab needed some love after 70 years of A-holes pushing on the tail to ground maneuver it.

If you closely, you’ll see another old faith steed off the nose of the Twotter.

Which, fun fact, everyone down here calls it the Otter. An otter it is not…

Sweet-talking and rubbing elbows with the right people, I was offered a slot to fly it.
Standby for more pics.

A couple of us flew our RVs to Kugluktuk in late June 2012. For some reason my GPS rd to 296 switched into night mode with a dim screen when we crossed the arctic circle. Same thing happened with my friend’s GPS. Really enjoyed the trip but it was hard to sleep with the sun up all night.
